Our school was founded in London in 1850, and for over 170 years generations of pioneers have thrived within our international family of schools, achieving their dreams spawned by their NLCS education. North London Collegiate School UK (NLCS) is the oldest academic girls’ school in the United Kingdom. Established in 1850 by Victorian pioneer of women’s education, Frances Mary Buss, it has provided an exceptional education to its pupils for 175 years. NLCS UK exam results place the School consistently near the very top of UK league tables for IB Diploma Scores. Each member of the NLCS International Family of Schools strives to instil the academic ambition of the UK school, which has inspired generations of successful alumnae.
